Jenna discovered yoga and meditation as teenager and soon after traveled to Dhamma Giri in India to study Vipassana meditation. In 2009, she began teaching yoga to underserved youth in community centers, affordable housing and alternative high schools. Working with young people has taught her much about being in the present moment.
Jenna’s classes focus on creative sequences and finding moments of mindfulness. In every class, students will get hands-on assists, pranayama, and delicious music.
She completed her 200-hour teacher training at Jaya Yoga Center and is a certified children’s yoga teacher through Little Flower Yoga. She is part of the first training cohort of meditation teachers at MNDFL.
Jenna is humbled to be in the company of such high caliber yoga teachers, and proud to call Jaya her yoga home.
