My relationship with yoga began more than 15 years ago while on tour in NYC with the Lyon Opera Ballet. A friend of mine convinced me to go to a vinyasa yoga class on one of the hottest August afternoons I can remember. I had never sweat so much nor felt so awake and alive. I was hooked! Not long afterward I packed my bags, left my home in Paris, and moved to NYC to become a yoga teacher. I trained and taught at OM Yoga Center for over ten years, where I also was a core member of the teacher training faculty and the Director of Teacher Development. I also teach at Kula Yoga Project and Yogaworks.
My classes, informed by my love of movement and interest in Buddhist philosophy, offer a vigorous blend of vinyasa with a down to earth approach to dharma. I believe that each class, each pose, is an opportunity for us to create more intimacy with ourselves, and more honesty in our lives. I am excited to be part of the Brooklyn yoga community and am grateful for the shared wisdom of my students, teachers, friends, and family. For more information visit my website: www.liveembodied.com.
