Ani is interested in the patterns and paradoxes of the mind and body. Her yoga class guides students to explore the interdependence of breath and movement, effort and ease, balance and imbalance. Flowing sequences that repeat, build and challenge are informed by her experience as a dancer/choreographer. Ani has studied Anatomy and Breath-Centered Yoga with Leslie Kaminoff, Mindfulness Meditation with Larry Rosenberg, Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater and Thai Massage through the Lotus Palm School. She received her yoga teacher training at OM yoga center. Ani develops and teaches specialized yoga programs, including a breath-based core strength training, a yoga series for singers to support full vocalization, and yoga/meditation classes for at-risk youth.
